One of the most overlooked discounts is the one you didn’t ask for!!!
Seriously! There are discounts available on so many levels these days, but if you don’t ask for them, guess what….. You will NEVER get them! If every time you bought something wouldn’t you love it if you could get a discount? Then ASK for it!
I know! It’s hard the first time. To assert your frugal self to the point of not just looking for a discount, but asking for one. It is like your first kiss. You are scared to death! What if you do it wrong? What if the other party doesn’t respond favorably?….What if one of your friends sees you??
You lived through that first kiss and learned to love kissing. I promise, it’s just as exciting to get your first requested bargain! Remember that first kiss feeling? Your blood will be flowing pretty hot and fast when you succeed!!!
Now….purse those lips and ask away!! Just by asking for a discount, I almost never pay the original price for anything. Hotels, car rentals, cable, cell phone, clothing, dog grooming, even doctors visits!!!! Store managers have a power they will never tell you about: the ability to discount almost any item in the store by up to 15%+ (even if it’s NOT damaged). All you have to do is ask. REALLY.
“So, is there any way to get a lower price on this?”, “I found this at a lower price in another store, but I would rather spend my money here.” “I was wondering if the flaw in this item could warrant a lower price?” “Hi, is there a better price you could give me on this item?”
You will NEVER get what you don’t ask for…………..So, ASK already!
