Buying $100 For $40 Bucks

Strict budgets don't allow much room for "dining out", I know this. I've even written about the cost of eating out vs. eating at home more than once. But, honestly, there are just times you need a break. You need to know that you still deserve rewards for all the hard work you put into life and to just be treated to a nice dinner out whether it be with your other half, a good friend or by yourself. A well earned break from the grind of life you've worked so hard to financially protect with such budgeting dilligence. Why can't you do BOTH? Especially if you can do so at up to 70% off what it's going to cost people who haven't the financial savvy you have!

Restaurant.com (http://www.restaurant.com/) was something I had heard of but had to see tested and proven before I could believe it enough to pass it on to you. You know, because I'm a self proclaimed tightwad and all, I wasn't willing to waste your money or mine only to find out it was just another hyped up wannabe money saver. Been there, done that! I guess that's why I had not personally participated in what they "said" they had to offer. Well, their incredible offers finally got to me and I had to try it! Here's the real scoop:

You simply go to Restaurant.com (http://www.restaurant.com/) (www.restaurant.com), type in either your zip code or area you are interested in and you are provided with a list of eateries that offer some unbelievable deals. Basically, you buy gift cards to the restaurant of your choice. Now here's the "good buy" part, a $25.00 gift card costs on average $10.00, $100.00 costs $40.00. That is 60%+ off just buy prepurchasing your dinner. Are you kidding? NO! It's real!

But beware, one of the ways these sites make money is from people who buy the discount cards for themselves or as gifts and they are never redeemed. I would suggest not to purchase any gift cards until you hare positive you or the receiver are going straight to dinner. If not used, it's money out the window. So, go...... treat yourself.....you deserve it, just make that $40 spot is worthy of $100!
