Believe it or not, there actually IS something free from the government that isn't a trick and can possible help make your financial world better....NO, it's not a bail out! What were you thinking? (http://www.mymoney.gov/order.shtml) You simply fill out the form to get a "free package of helpful publications on saving, investing, protecting and getting the most for your money. The "My Money" tool kit is also available by calling 1 (888) Mymoney. That's 1 (888) 696 6639, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. eastern time (except Federal holidays). " And, no, they don't ask for anything more than your name and address.
The tool kit contains the following publications:
■Consumer Action Handbook This everyday guide to being a smart shopper is hot off the press and chock-full of helpful tips about preventing identity theft, understanding credit, filing a consumer complaint, and much more.
