Don't Look Them Straight In The Aisle!
There are so many ways grocery stores nickel and dime you to death and most people don't even see it coming. Now, don't go blaming your local grocery store fore they provide a wonderful service that we would find it hard to live without. The great purveyors of our most needed commodities are, in fact, businesses and they are just doing what any business would do. Maximizing their efforts for profit. Period. But if you can see some of these tricks coming, you can avoid them and you keep more of your sought after money in your own pocket.
In the coming weeks, I will let you in on more and more of these savvy tricks that are the culprits of your busted grocery budgets. I'd give them to you all at once, but I think all of our heads would explode. So lets start with one of the most widely used. It's so widely used it is on every aisle in the store because its proven to work.
If you haven't noticed, it's time you did! You will almost always find the highest priced items at eye-level. It is a proven fact that most consumers will choose more items to buy from a location that is eye level. Hence, the most expensive items children will want and you would not pick are lower than the items you would have a tendency to want. So as simple as it sounds, it works like a dream! Next time your in the store, look above and below for a better bargain. Below are the least likely seen and are usually the lower priced. How ironically low of them.
Basically, if you are looking high and low for a better bargain......you are already ahead of the game!
