Bo-Bavings!

Choosing to buy the "name" and not the "product" can be an expensive decision. Next time you are crawling through the grocery aisles looking for a bargain, take the time to compare a few of the store brand (also known as generic) labels with those name brand products we are more quickly drawn to. Many times you will find there are no differences or at least very few in the product itself, but the price deviation can be dramatic. Most of the big name brand companies we all covet compete with each other to win the lowest bid so that they are the company to produce the store brand labels. The company that wins the bid then wraps their exact name brand product in the generic packaging and sells it for less. That's right..... Those less expensive generic items may very well be the SAME name brand products missing only the higher price tag and pretty packaging.

Everywhere from the produce section to the pharmacy and even the meat department have comparable products. You'll even find some products that have the same exact packaging minus the fancy logo. Savings average about 30% to 46% so it's worth the read! I can hear you now walking away from the register with your receipt in hand, glowing in your savings, humming a few bars of the song "The Name Game"....... "Savings, savings, Bo-bavings......!

If you have any food allergies or conditions that require specific products, consult your doctor before trying anything new.
