A Tragic Tale Of Toaster Tragedy!

A gang of innocent looking electronics were caught stealing from their own home this past weekend. According to authorities, the gang's apparent leader, and biggest thief, was the family's own PC which was joined by many other resident electronics of the same home. These included, but were not limited to, phone chargers, cable boxes, the family coffee pot, several alarm clocks and perhaps the most shocking of all, the charming retro toaster. It was discovered by the family themselves as they struggled to find the reason for their rising electrical cost. Apparently 40% of the electricity used in this and nearly every home is from electronics that are plugged in but not even in use and presumed to be turned off. Even the phone charger when no phone is plugged into it is sucking money out of your pocket!

This crime wave is apparently running rampant and has been for way too long. This has got to stop! You have only two choices to save your own electric bill from such pilfering..... You can simply "pull the plug" on your beloved electronics (which some see as to harsh) or you can simple use "electronic monitoring" with a "Smart Power Strip". I've found these strips on several different sites (including Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com)), but the best prices with warranty I've found so far are on Smarthomeusa.com (http://www.smarthomeusa.com/Shop/Smart-Energy/Smart-Strip/). (Just make sure it's a "smart power strip", not some knock off name!) These Smart Power Strips cost between $31 and $44 (with a 12% discount when you buy 3+ from Smarthomeusa.com (http://www.smarthomeusa.com/Shop/Smart-Energy/Smart-Strip/)). Just consider them your own power watch strip and know they will put a stop to the needless power sucking these electronics have subjected you to without anything in return!
